It was so fun to do this cake reveal. The mom and dad looked away during the ultra sound then delivered the envelope with the picture saying boy or girl to me. I then made this cake with the appropriate color inside to annouce what they were having. They gathered friends together and everyone watched as the mom cut into the cake to see what they were having.
Being a big sports family it was an easy choice to do a Blue vs Pink cake. Especially when the house was pretty split on what was wanted.
But when the mom cut in and saw blue she screamed in happiness! She won! She got her boy! So happy for her and her family. So lucky to have been a part of such a fun way to announce to their friends and find out themselves what they were having.
The cake is a white chooclate cake just colored with some blue coloring.
